Responsible for ensuring the onsite Butchery Department is kept clean and to a high standard working as part of a team and having a great attention to detail, working in an organised and professional manner
Responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out daily cleaning tasks using chemicals
- Thorough cleaning of processing equipment including stripping of machines to meet required hygiene standards
- Monitoring of temperatures of products and fridges
- Sending swabs for micro testing on a weekly basis
- Cleaning and mopping of productions areas
- Ensuring staff canteen, changing rooms, office areas and staff toilets are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to
- Managing hygiene record keeping
The successful candidate will have:
- Good attention to detail and high standards of hygiene controls
- Able to work as part of a team within the Butchery Department
- Excellent time management skills
- Good record keeping
- Able to work to defined rules and regulations within the Butchery Department
