    Christmas Dinner Twists

    December is here! Everyone is preparing and getting excited about all those Christmas dinners they will be having with their friends and families throughout the month. Why not re-imagine and improve the regular features of your Christmas dinner to make your meal stand out from the rest.

    Here is some inspiration that you can use to supercharge familiar Christmas favourites:

    Add a bit of colour to your Brussel Sprouts

    Brussel Sprouts are a Christmas classic – why not add a twist by wrapping your Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and adding dried Cranberries and roasted Pecan nuts.

    The Cranberries’ sweetness is a lovely contrast with the bitterness of the Brussel Sprouts; combined with the crunch from the Pecan nuts and Bacon makes this dish burst with Christmas flavour!

    Add more flavour to your Turkey
    What is a Christmas dinner without Turkey? Make your bird distinctive this year by trying something different and adding flavoursome twists.

    • Baste your Turkey with Premium Ale or wine every hour! The natural sugars will help brown the outside of the Turkey giving it a crisp and succulent outside.
    • Inject apple juice! This will help keep the meat moist and give the Turkey that sweet taste.
    • Bacon – you can use Bacon in all sorts of ways. You can add strips on the outside, baste with Bacon grease, inject with Bacon grease or cut up the Bacon and add under the skin.
