    Snacking with Stokes

Classic lunch time snacks made better with Stokes Sauces. These 3 short recipe videos could inspire you to mix up your lunch time offerings. Stokes Sauces have a wide range of sauces and relishes made locally in Suffolk. In case you need another reason to love Stokes, Rick Sheepshanks (Founder of Stokes sauces) gives shelter to a whole host of rescue animals at the Rendlesham menagerie. You can read more about it here.

    Chilli Twists:

These incredible looking Chilli Twists are sure to take your customers by surprise. Packed full of flavour, we recommend using Stokes Chilli Jam or the Red Onion Marmalade. Here is the full recipe courtesy of Stokes Sauces:

    1. Preheat the oven to 180C Fan.
    2. Roll out the ready-rolled puff pastry, spread a generous layer of Stokes Chilli Jam across the entire surface, and place the other layer of ready rolled pastry on top.
    3. Slice into strips approximately 3cm wide.
    4. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until pastry golden brown.
    5. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes and enjoy!

    Cheese Toastie:

The humble cheese toastie is a lunch time classic. This recipe mixes things up a little using Stokes Sticky Pickle. The sticky pickle sauce works beautifully with a layer of melted cheese. This can work as a vegan lunch time offering too when paired with our Violife Vegan Mature Grated Cheese.

Delifrance White Bloomers are great for this recipe, but you might also want to Browse the huge range of breads we have available here.

    Red Onion and Sausage Sandwich:

Another classic recipe with an additional flare to stand out from the pack. The sausage sandwich is always going to hit the spot, but adding Stokes Red Onion Marmalade on top will take your classic sausage sarnie to the next level!

We recommend using top quality sausages from our artisan butchery.
