Warehouse Backshift Operative

Responsible for maintaining a safe clean working environment, picking customer orders in all areas of the warehouse, ensuring goods in are unloaded in a timely and safe manner, products are scanned in and checked against delivery notes accurately showing good attention to detail. Replenishing and Put away of stock in all chambers, whilst following the instructions of the WHM voice system, ensuring to date rotate and count each time where needed, pre weigh and quality check fresh veg, manage any customer returns from vehicles, allocate empty cages to each area of the pick prior to pick start time ensuring all cages are decanted into the relevant recycle bin.

Responsibilities will include:

• Stock Replenishment
• Putaway
• Goods In
• Picking Customer Orders
• Managing Customer Returns
• Manage/Recycle Non Product Vehicle Returns
• Pre Weighting and Basic Quality Control of Fresh Produce
• Empty Cage Replenishment/Allocation

The successful candidate will have:

• Safe use of all MHE
• Working within H&S guidelines
• Precision and Accuracy
• Good attention to detail
• Use of initiative
• Reach Truck and Counter Balance forklift licences preferred although training will be provided
