Warehouse Nights Team Leader

This is a dynamic and fast paced role working closely with the Warehouse Nightshift Supervisor to support a fully functional Operations Team. As a Warehouse Nightshift Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of up to 30 employees. With over 100,000 cases of product being loaded per week it is vital that the successful candidate will have very high standards of operating processes and procedures as well as focussing on results.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and food safety at all times, as well as contributing to BRC audits and measures
• Working closely with the Warehouse Nightshift Supervisor to prioritise the day to day planning and organisation of the Warehouse function
• Motivating the warehouse team to focus on customer service to meet our high level of customer service across the business
• Creating a positive and innovative atmosphere which encourages people to commit themselves to the task in hand and where necessary
• Overseeing administrative duties and ensuring you have an attention to detail

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with leading teams of up to 30
• An up to date forklift license (i.e. reach truck or counterbalance)
• Resilience of working on a nightshift and being able to motivate and enthuse others during night-time working
• Excellent relationship building skills with the energy and passion to communicate clearly to the team particularly during handovers
• Excellent customer service skills at a high standard and being able to promote the same mindset of the importance of customer service to a large team
