Warehouse Nightshift Operative

This is a dynamic and fast paced role working with our team of Operatives who are responsible for picking orders for our customers. They load the orders onto our fleet of dual-temperature vehicles in time for our early morning customer delivery operation. Reporting to the Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor you will work a core contract of 40 hours per week, Sunday to Friday on a rota basis. With OTE and a performance bonus. The role is demanding, and you will be well rewarded with excellent rates of pay and the opportunity for overtime working.

Responsibilities will include:

• Picking and loading customer order on to our own vehicles
• Working in different temperature zones, ambient, frozen, and chilled
• Ensuring all products are loaded onto our lorries safely and without damage
• Health and Safety procedures must be met to all the times

The successful candidate will have:

• Good attention to detail and high standards of accuracy; essential for good stock management.
• Resilience of working on a nightshift and being able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and able to complete warehouse paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Excellent customer service skills at a high standard.
• Strong personal qualities and a positive, courteous, and calm approach to your work.
• Experience of working in a racked warehouse environment.
