Nurtured in Norfolk Baby Rainbow Carrots are a vibrant mix of young carrots in purple, yellow and red, offering a tender-crisp texture and naturally sweet, earthy flavour with subtle herbaceous notes. Harvested while young, these colourful baby vegetables bring plenty of visual appeal to the plate and are a great way to add something different to seasonal menus.
Nurtured in Norfolk was founded in 2009 by former chefs Allen and Sue, who began growing micro cress after looking for more consistent and flavourful garnishes for their own dishes. Their experience in professional kitchens helped shape the business, which has since grown to offer over 280 varieties of micro herbs, edible flowers, leaves, pea shoots, bunched herbs and sea vegetables. Their focus remains on producing high-quality, consistent speciality ingredients that chefs would be proud to use themselves.
These versatile baby carrots can be steamed, boiled, roasted and baked and are perfect for vegetable platters, canapes, side dishes and pairing with roasted or grilled meats. With their vibrant colours and sweet flavour, they also make an eye-catching addition to children's menus.
