Centre cut into neat rings, these beef marrow bones expose the rich, buttery marrow at the heart of the bone, ready to melt slowly into stocks and sauces. The marrow brings a deep savoury richness and natural body as it cooks, giving homemade beef stock a fuller flavour and luxurious texture. Cut with care in our own CJ Butchers, they’re a simple ingredient that can make a noticeable difference to the finished dish.
Block packed and frozen, they’re easy to store and use as needed. Roast them first for a deeper, more developed flavour before adding to a long, slow stock, or simmer gently to draw out a cleaner beef character.
