With the hock removed and each leg hand cut into two, these Bone-In Chicken Leg Quarters give chefs a generous, rustic cut with the deep flavour and succulence associated with dark meat. Keeping the bone in helps the meat stay moist during cooking and gives the portion plenty of natural character.

Prepared by CJ Butchers and supplied frozen, they are particularly suited to slower cooking methods such as roasting, braising and casseroling, but also take well to grilling and marinades. A versatile cut for hearty mains, sharing dishes and flavour-led menus.
