Good chicken wings need very little doing to them. With the skin left on, these wings have the rich flavour and juicy texture that come from a well-chosen cut, while the skin takes on a crisp, golden finish as it cooks. At approximately 60g each, they have a generous size that gives plenty of room for seasoning, marinades and glazes to work their way into the dish.

Prepared by CJ Butchers, the wings are supplied frozen in a 2.5kg pack for convenient storage and portioning. Whether roasted until deeply golden, grilled over a hot flame or finished on the barbecue, they have the kind of simple, generous character that makes a really good chicken wing.
