Turkey - Butterfly, Whole, Rolled, Avg. 5kg

A substantial roasting joint made from a boneless double turkey breast, this whole 5kg butterfly is rolled and neatly strung in our butchery to hold its shape through cooking. Removing the bone makes carving much easier, while the generous size gives you a generous centrepiece with plenty of tender turkey for the table.

The beauty of a well-prepared turkey joint is in its simplicity. Give it a good roast until the outside is golden and the meat stays succulent, then carve into neat slices for a classic presentation. It also makes an excellent base for a more considered roast, whether finished with herbs and butter, wrapped in bacon or cooked with a rich stuffing.
