Consistent 10–15mm slices make these frozen bananas particularly easy to work with, giving chefs a ready-prepared format without the peeling, slicing or waste associated with fresh fruit. Made from selected ripe bananas, each slice is treated with citric acid, ascorbic acid and salt before being individually quick frozen, helping to maintain its natural colour and character.
Part of The Food Heroes, From The Farm focuses on practical frozen ingredients that make quality produce easier to use across foodservice. Kept at -18°C or below, the slices can be taken straight from frozen as required, whether blended into smoothies, layered through breakfast dishes, used in baking or added to desserts.
