Seafeast IQF Squid Tubes are skinless, boneless squid mantles (Dosidicus gigas) with water as a protective ice glaze.
Produced in Dublin, Ireland, Seafeast carefully source all their seafood to ensure quality and consistency across their range. Pre-cleaned and ready to thaw, these squid tubes are ideal for calamari, stir-fries and stuffed seafood dishes.
Ingredients
Squid (Dosidicus gigas) 95% (Mollusc), Water, Salt, Acidity Regulators: Sodium Citrates, Citric Acid; Stabiliser: Triphosphates.
Cooking & Handling
Remove all packing prior to cooking and defrost. Oven Bake: Pre-heat oven to 180-200°C. Place the squid tubes on a pre-heated baking tray and cook for 15-18 minutes. Deep Fry: Pre-heat fryer to 180°C. Place the squid tubes in the oil and fry for 2-3 minutes. Please ensure food is fully cooked and piping hot prior to serving.
